Here at RESOLVE Counselling we fully appreciate how difficult things can be for people at different times throughout the year and would like to acknowledge that this strain can be felt by anyone at anytime. We sometimes can feel overwhelmed with even the smallest of daily routines. Loneliness, isolation and financial difficulties can be a real source of stress or we can be caught up in grief remembering loved ones that have died.
RESOLVE would like to offer our support to the people of Limerick and so have created a Worry Well. The Worry Well is based on therapeutic journaling and encourages people to express their worries by writing them into a letter, getting their worries out of their head onto paper and hand it to someone who cares. Once they have finished their letter they are invited to drop their letter into the Worry Well.
While the problems still exist, writing a letter to the Worry Well allows the person to look at their problems from a different viewpoint and maybe find clarity. In addition, it has long been acknowledged that a problem shared is a problem halved and using the Worry Well is the first step in this process.
The Worry Well is more than a well of worries, it is a positive way (well way) to worry. It is a positive experience, clearing your headspace allowing room for positive thinking. To worry well promotes resilience, self-belief and effective problem solving.
To organise for a Worry Well to be brought to your company or organisation all you have to do is contact us and we will take it from there!
We encourage everyone, young and old, to make full use of the Worry Well and wish yougood mental health.
